Hello! I'm Will Terry. I've received a lot of requests from folks who want to know how I create my artwork. So I have created this video course: Digital Painting in Photoshop.
It is a video tutorial series that starts with the sketch and leads you
through the hardware, software, settings and techniques I use to create
my paintings in Photoshop. With the help of fellow illustrators, I've
found a way to mimic the textural acrylic paintings I've spent the last
19 years making for my national clients.
In this series I'll walk you through making your own texture and bringing it into Photoshop. I talk about all of the decisions I make, from design to color, rendering to edge control. I show what brushes I use, how I use them, and the settings you can use to achieve similar effects. If after watching this series you still have questions regarding my process I would be happy to answer your email questions. This is NOT a general Photoshop tutorial but rather a look into my digital process. We will be painting the frog-with-children image you see below. Photoshop. The next five lectures will be the actual painting of the
